Biography:
“First formed in 2003, Bloodshot Dawn have evolved from a straight forward, groove orientated death metal band into a technically ferocious extreme metal outfit. Hailed by Terrorizer as a band that delivers “blistering live shows”, Bloodshot Dawn have become a household name in the UK underground!”
This album has been created because over 200 pledger's decided to come together and hurl Bloodshot Dawn back into the limelight, giving them a chance to forge their metal stamp onto the metal community – Bloodshot Dawn responded with this, their new album ‘Demons’ and have well and truly delivered!
Smoke and Mirrors
The initial spark of that first riff fires up with an intense compulsion to move the head and allowing the body to follow. The earth shattering vocals leave nothing to the imagination as they forcibly expel a superb harshness that flavours with caustic intent as the music ignites with devilish malice.
Consequence Complex
Well the consequences, after listening to this are surely a few snapped necks – least of all a few painkillers! As the compulsory banging of the head materialises. The brutal subterfuge engages and sweeps vehemently across the ears, while the hearty vocals swell and manifests into a battle cry of sorts. Rich in provocation and embellished with a musical potency that is lethal!
Unified
The buoyant chugs are endless and un-wavering in this brutal array of ferocity. Its presence is chaotic and bulges with antagonistic emotions. The rhythmic pounding is contagious and unrestrained it literally, excites and is magnified by a strong compelling urgency.
------------------------------------------------
“From start to finish the album brutalises and rewards with a thrilling excitement that expresses hearty vocals and steely riffs and are hammered out in conjunction with bludgeoning blast beats. Fast, furious and engaging, never letting its guard down even for a second!”

Inadequacy
Another bludgeoning conquest savagely basks in a rugged coaxing of extreme potency. The vocals are enhanced with high shrieks and low growled frequencies that completely excite and enthral, punctuated with a solid riff and high octane bass that is drenched in a solid rhythmic contagion.
Black Hole Infinity
Back on the rampage this one is fevered with top notch rhythmic savagery and the superbly crafted vocal edge balances alongside a strong scorching melody. Its mighty soaring, sways from grand to an even grander scale and will reward with utter satisfaction.
Human Void
There is no resting on laurels here as the rapacious groove sparks a near on nuclear assault. Vehement and feisty the seamless tenacity explodes and in a colourful bruising, skilfully devours the aural in a malignant brawl.
The Image Faded
Whipping up yet another brutal swarm of rhythm there is no escape from this rewarding and tantalising composition as it eats into an inventive and unforgettable melodic swathe of startling sure-fire riffs that will leave the listener transfixed.
Demons
The title track reaches a poignant potent climax and subsequently immerses the ears with a jagged frenzy of flourishing temptation. It converges on the senses with little or no regard as the blistering guitars leave their mark with riveting hues of smouldering rhythms.
Summary:
From start to finish the album brutalises and rewards with a thrilling excitement that expresses hearty vocals and steely riffs and are hammered out in conjunction with bludgeoning blast beats. Fast, furious and engaging, never letting its guard down even for a second.
There are no warm and tender moments to witness at all, not that it was expected in the first instance and is all pretty damming and utterly ruthless in its cataclysmic delivery.
It exploits a lingering majestic imagination that embeds under the skin to infect with intrigue and positivity. It is a passionate album in the sense of every stone being over thrown and inserted with a grand and skilful creativity.
It is a whirling dervish that only stops spinning when the final track finishes. Bloodshot Dawn have exceeded their own boundaries here and superseded our expectations on what lies within this well-crafted and expertly produced CD.
Playing fast and loose with the emotions and running on high octane levels through-out, this is a rigorous twist of enterprise and does not shy away from its forthright responsibilities to fully engage the aural and should NOT be overlooked!
