Blue Noon promo art by by Hollie Caddock!
Genre: Horror, Erotica, Experimental
As always Martin Daniels goes that one stage further – not content on doing music but also turned his hand to acting and incorporated all of his talents together although his involvement with Blue Noon is strictly a musical endeavour. He is also the CEO of Bleakscape Records.
About the Film:
“Blue Noon is an avant-garde film inspired by the works of Franco and Rollin that intertwines several directors' visions of various time periods of the desolate immortal life of a mate-hungry seductress who has a mysterious connection to the sea!”
Tracks
CD One
01
The surging rumbles of this gaudy track encounter a sinister ambience that creeps and antagonises, luring you into a festering and squalid landscape of utter evil. Not a word is spoken or sung but there is little need for it as the music lets you know in no uncertain terms that it means business.
02
A sparse keyboard rings out in a chilling and echoing fashion in this eerie little track. The gnawing intensity is like biting frost that nips at your nose.
03
This track is a melodic roll of low tuned rhythms that bubble under the surface in a harrowing guise that meanders to its close.
04
This will chill to the bone! The ominous chants are exuded in a macabre and horrendous frenzy. The effects of which will be felt through the deep chanting that turns into a hellish seasoned wind that blows with vehemence. It is quite a long track that grows increasingly traumatic as it draws to its unnerving end.
05
The harmonious and sinister symphonics glow a certain radiance although not with any warmth but with blood curdling malice and are likened to an unearthly resonation that knows no bounds or restraints.
06
The twisted rhythms are startling as they penetrate with sounds likened to a deep husky rattle that sends shock waves through your gut like a rusty knife and weaken the immune system.
07
Even darker than before the wailing high pitched taunting is carried out by non other than Martin Daniels himself in this torrid and mocking composition. It has certain oriental trappings that are sinister and shocking and does not hold back with sneering distress.
08
Is slightly uplifting as it scurries about and kicks up various sounds such as footsteps and what seems to be chains rattling, will leave that caustic taste on the tongue. Stretching its heavy boundaries once more changing direction and becomes a freakish nightmare of unhinged rhythms bringing to a close the tracks on the first CD.
CD Two
09
Opening the second CD is an outpouring of whirling dervishes that boast bulldozing rhythms riding on a torrid bed of electrification. Dispatched with vigour and out for assassination it compels with an abundance of excitement and in trepidation.

“The mind of Martin Daniels is twisted to fuck, to put it very bluntly! It will scare some rigid, it will amuse others but most of all it will intrigue many and this is just the sound track!! – Just in time for Halloween!”

10
Swirls like an evil fog in a dark forest. It conjours up so many rich scenes of colour. If you close your eyes you can clearly see the imagery it portrays within its lengthy strides of expanding rhythm that uplift and yet caress with a subdued smothering.
11
Deep, menacing, vibrant and formidable this one leaps from the speakers and bludgeons the senses in all-out thrilling interception. It riles the mind and oozes filth from every pore imaginable. Listening to this you know something dark and nightmarish is about to unfold!
12
The monotone rhythms fester under the surface ready to pounce, and will do nothing to curb your feelings of hate as the rhythms gnaw hungrily and with more feverish tendencies to clean the bones of their tender flesh while turning the brain to complete and utter solidification as it reaches its end.
13
Intense and unguarded it battles out a violent tirade of menace within itself. You can hear the flies buzzing around in this putrefying malevolence. The evil moulds itself around the aural and infects it like a paralyzing drug.
Summary:
The reasons I adore Martin’s Music is because it is attention grabbing. It slowly cooks up images that are ravishing and embellished with poison. There are very few words if any (apart from on track 7) that spell out its direction but with the lurid and passionate droning blackness there are no need for words.
We all love good horror flicks without a doubt – anything that terrifies and thrills is always a winner! – but Blue Noon intensifies the experience by its bludgeoning force and inexplicable peculiarities.
The Martin Daniels experience is just that ‘an experience’ and once witnessed there really is no going back. From then on it is a downward spiral into a virtually un explored world of depravity which we all visit from time to time out of curiosity, but for some never return to the world we know.
The mind of Martin Daniels is twisted to fuck, to put it very bluntly! It will scare some rigid, it will amuse others but most of all it will intrigue many and this is just the sound track!! - Just in time for Halloween!!
