                                                                                                    Snakebite  Independent Release

Silent Jack are a band who mix in sleaze, hard rocking and good times, hailing from Birmingham the band have released seven tracks of sleazetastic partying rock.

Whipping into the room, the band explode and wrap around your neck like a sweat drenched bandana, dragging you to the front of the stage as these cheeky rockers.  Silent Jack announce a 'Brand New Start', it’s a real live wire of a opener to an EP that's chock-a-block full of bouncing, fun themed rock with the obligatory ballad!

'King Cobra' has the venom and style so beloved of bands like Motley Crue, Poison et al, this is “Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll” 2014 style, as is the super 'Going Down', which really wouldn’t be out of place on an earlier Crue album such as 'Theatre of Pain', it's cheeky, sassy and groove orientated, bouncing round the room and consuming loads of JD!  'Love Factory' has a pounding drum and sing-along chorus, try and stand still listening to this one, the guitar solo is simply fantastic!

OK…'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' is next!  No! It’s got the opening acoustic style to the aforementioned song and I am wondering if the lead vocalist is the love child of Brett Michaels and Vince Neil?? This is a really nice lazing on the Sunset Strip in err… Birmingham! kind of song… oh ok the Bullring then, on a hot sunny day with your Pina Colada!! It’s a really nice song delivered with brilliant mastery by the band.

'Made in Heaven' cranks up the attitude and sees the band delivering nearly six minutes of attitude, as the band scratch and crawl and kick out some meaty riffs and fist punching rawking!  'Hot Lovin' is the band’s debut single which I have had the pleasure of reviewing before and really can’t add any more than to say its jigging, boogying, letting your hair down and all out partying!

I really like Rich Stitch’s style and how the band have encapsulated everything that’s great about the sleaze/glam genre on this EP.  Having never seen the band live before it's something I need to remedy, as do you all that love fun packed rocking music to fill your soul! Get a bite, and make sure it’s 'Snakebite'!!!
