Gateway to Hell

Fluctuating rhythms languish in a wayward jungle of cantankerous chugs and deliver a combat style arrangement that punishes the audial openings in a somewhat persistent and gnawing manner! The heavy savage riffs explore some emotive boundaries while the vocal edge is moody and contains a lot of grit!

“Essentially, and like with most metal bands, seeing a band live is the best way to make a true judgement and I know first-hand that they can and do deliver a potent set with added banter, superbly when having a crowd to feed off!”

Beast in Me

Begins with a slow amble in tempo turning into a volatile chug and carves a heavy chasm for itself, and deviates from its faster counter-parts. Its outlandish characteristics boast a more marching drum beat at the beginning which then becomes more controlled as the track progresses.

Summary

It is a shame that this demo has been hastily put together as it does not do the band justice at all.  It just gives the listener a slight glimpse into the badass world of Stampede and does not touch on the real deal by far.

Essentially, and like with most metal bands, seeing a band live is the best way to make a true judgement and I know first-hand that they can, and do deliver a potent set with added banter superbly when having a crowd to feed off.

This is certainly not a bad demo, but just in need of a bit of touching up and polish to show the band in their true light. This just grazes the surface!

However, the band are busily working on a new E.P and that; I hear, has all the trimmings and will include some much needed artwork!

But hey they are a relatively new band and only played their first gig on 11th June this year, so there is more to come from Stampede – make sure you don’t miss out!

Watch this space as they say!
